by me.
hello, Saturday.
that transition into the chorus and one line just gets me. Alex Turner’s “Stuck On A Puzzle” from the soundtrack to Submarine.
i guess staying at home a whole day (or lately a weekend) is great, so long as you have music to keep yourself going.
listening to the same good song for hours on end. :)
and epic day out with Christy shopping, watching the Giants beat (?) LA and discussing ideas for a Night at the Roxbury kind of weekend. SWAG SWAG SWAG SWAG SWAG
(twitter inside joke)
night showers always feel relaxing, to me at least.
and to other nice things, i really am looking forwards to this week and following weekend. a party perhaps Friday in San Fran, coffee in the beautiful twinkle-lit Belden Place with a friend (or sister), gym today, my favorite cafe in the morning tomorrow, and then Saturday— DAVIS WITH ALL MY GIRLS.
i had a little melt-down admittedly over this weekend. it started when plans changed for the worst on Thursday night. i was dying to go out that weekend, and no one was getting back to my texts about hanging out, having dinner or something. NO ONE. i was sad. lol, it honestly was a modest weekend of nothings.
but i’ve only to realize that it’s because this week is the loaded one— that last weekend was in fact the calm before the exciting storm. so, even though you may think life is hard at times and not much is going on, chin up, something is just around the corner. i was shocked to have let my nerves loose at being alone and bored this weekend, but you know, not every moment in life is going to be perfect and sunny. bad times always happen, can’t really escape from it. but that’s the beauty of life: everything is unpredictable and the horrid parts are just part of living.
